Please join us Saturday June 21st as we host our annual Summer Thyme Herb & Garden Fair.Exploring the theme of the "culinary use of herbs", we are thrilled to have culinary herbalist and well-known author, Pat Crocker joining us for a food demonstration at 1:00 pm. In addition, Nathalie McNeill from the Fountain Head Café will present on the commercial use of organics and herbs and Krista Harrington of From These Roots will do a demonstration on the culinary use of edible flowers.
Stroll amongst the many vendors of herbs, herbal products, perennials and garden related items or take part in the many family oriented hands-on activities including "potting up" your own starter herb garden. Discuss you own garden issues with our resident staff gardener, Liane Howell and admire her efforts in our various heritage gardens, which will most certainly delight and inspire any serious or novice gardener.
The herb & garden fair runs 9am - 4pm, rain or shine on the grounds of the Wellington County Museum & Archives. Admission is $2 per person. Entertainment for the afternoon will be provided by the Playford Players, who are eager to return to the beauty of our Victorian garden.
